What You Will Study
Students on this course have the opportunity of a curriculum that is bespoke and tailored to meet their individual needs. The curriculum is designed to support with anxieties and worries about coming to a larger college which means the students will be able to grow in confidence and start exploring what college life is all about. By the end of the year the students will have identified their next steps leading to their individual 'aspirations'.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements, however most applicants for the Inclusive Learning Department will have an Educational Health and Care Plan.
How You Will Be Assessed
There is no formal assessment other than in maths and English where appropriate. However progress is tracked throughout the year, with comprehensive and regular assessments through observations, assessment of written work and progress against individual targets.
Course Progression
Progression is usually to other courses within Inclusive learning or courses within the main college.
Fees
The college will apply for funding through the relevant Local Authority
