What You Will Study
If you're looking to start a career within the horticultural sector, this technical certificate will provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. You will explore health and safety in land-based industries, plant identification, plant maintenance and business skills.

Entry Requirements
Achieve 4 GCSE's at grade 3 or above, including English Language and maths.
How You Will Be Assessed
Assessment will be through synoptic, a mix of practical and written assessments, along with 2 externally set exams.
Course Progression
Upon successful completion at Merit, you could progress to Level 3 Diploma in Horticulture. Alternatively you may wish to gain employment or an apprenticeship.

Fees
If you are a UK or home fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course, tuition fees are free. If you are aged 19 and over please contact the Advice Shop
