What You Will Study

This practical course allows you to investigate and understand the basic workings of land based machinery and agricultural vehicles. You will hone your mechanical, mathematical and practical skills, including work experience in a real employment setting. This course is ideal for those who wish to progress into a role of Service Technician.

Entry Requirements

Achieve 4 GCSE's at grade 3 or above , including English Language and maths.

How You Will Be Assessed

Assessment is through a blend of synoptic exams (written and practical) followed by two externally set exams.

Course Progression

On successful completion of this course at Merit you can progress on to the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Agricultural Engineering. Alternatively you may seek employment or an apprenticeship.
