What You Will Study
This course gives newcomers to tractors and tractor driving the core skills of hand, foot and eye co-ordination and provides the opportunity to learn and practise safely under close supervision.
The course is primarily aimed at those aged 13 to 16-years-old, who have common sense and a mature attitude. This course will include hitching a trailer and also three point linkage.
Please wear suitable clothing that you don't mind getting muddy/ruined. Overalls/boiler suit and steel toe cap boots are essential.
This course runs over two days from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Entry Requirements
You need to be aged 13 or over to complete this course.
How You Will Be Assessed
Using a basic tractor you will learn to drive around the yard and complete simple tasks. You will learn basic safety checks and maintenance.
Course Progression
On completion of this course a Certificate of Attendance is issued. This course does not equip attendees to drive on public roads or highways and is not a qualification.
