Summary
Do you want to launch a successful career as a professional dog groomer? Would you like to work in a salon or open your own business. Then don't wait, Easton College is the place for you.
Come and study the City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma. You will obtain a highly professional, industry recognised qualification that is equivalent to an A Level. At Easton College we offer you a professional salon environment equipped with the latest grooming tools and technology. Experienced and professional lecturers who are able to share their expertise and experience to industry standard. They will develop your skills in a supportive and friendly atmosphere within small classes of like minded people.
You will be taught 1 day per week over a 38 week comprehensive learning programme covering all aspects of dog grooming, including:
Dog handling
Breed specific styles
Clipping and finishing techniques to health conditions and legislation
Course content - It will be either a Monday or Tuesday
9-4pm
You will be requested to purchase a book called 'What every professional do groomer should know' which is approximately £60.00. Please bring your existing Dog Grooming kit.
Entry Requirements
You will need to hold the City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate for Dog Grooming Assistants to start this qualification and a GCSE English grade 4-9 or A-C (or equivalent)
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the course you will achieve the City and Guilds L3 Diploma in Dog Grooming
Assessment
Assessments include synoptic and written exam
Progression
Achievement of this qualification demonstrates to an employer/the public that you have the necessary technical skills and knowledge they are looking for when recruiting/seeking the services of a Professional Dog Groomer.
