What You Will Study

This qualification aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge to use veterinary medicines safely, responsibly and in accordance with current legislation.

The qualification is endorsed to the animal group that you will be trained and assessed in. There will be an independent assessment and examination.

Upon booking, please let us know the species of animal required:

  • Pigs
  • Sheep and goats
  • Equine
  • Other (please specify)

You must also confirm if you require the use of animals at Easton College for the assessment, or if you have animal species at your own premises for assessment. Please also be aware that there may be additional charges for additional animal categories, please get in touch for further information.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this course. You need to be aged 16 years or over.

How You Will Be Assessed

The assessment will involve a one-to-one practical assessment with oral questioning by an approved City and Guilds assessor. Assessment will not be on the same day as the training. You will be contacted after your training has been completed to arrange a convenient time and date for this.
