What You Will Study

This qualification aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge to use veterinary medicines safely, responsibly and in accordance with current legislation.

The qualification is endorsed to the animal group that you are trained and assessed in. There will be an independent assessment and examination.

Entry Requirements

You need to be aged 16 years or over to complete this course.

How You Will Be Assessed

The assessment will involve a one to one practical assessment with oral questioning by an approved City and Guilds assessor. Assessment will not be on the same day as the training. You will be contacted after your training has been completed, to arrange a convenient time and date for this.

Course Progression

On successful completion of this course your will achieve a City and Guilds NPTC Level 2 Certificate of Competence in the Safe and Responsible Use of Veterinary Medicines 0141-21.
