Summary
This hands on, practical course provides you with the strong foundation needed to progress to further study or employment. Combining practical and technical skills, you will cover the health and wellbeing of animals, crop and livestock production, habitat management, conservation, and estate management.
Entry Requirements
Achieve 3 GCSE's at grade 2 or above, including English Language and maths.
Assessment
Assessment is through a range of practical and written assessments. On top of this, you will also have to complete two externally set multiple choice exams.
Progression
This qualification will develop pre-employability skills and contextualised knowledge to allow you to progress to further learning and training in a wide range of Land-based studies and, ultimately, to become successful in your chosen career. This could be Level 2 Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture or Agricultural Engineering.
