Garden Consultation
Tina Potter
Belaugh, NR12 8XA
Job Description
I am looking for a one off consultation with a knowledgable practitioner able to do a site visit, ask me questions, get a feel of who I am, challenge my ideas, suggest other ideas and generally explore ways of making my garden work more for me. I imagine this is more likely to be a mature person rather than young but welcome applications from all.
I have multiple levels on a sun baked chalky substrate with mature plantings, a relatively small growing area but much that is difficult to access due to steep slopes. I have taken out a lot of mature uninteresting shrubs, do not want potted plants, need low maintenance but not at the expense of aesthetics, have a no water policy once plants are established, consider wildlife important, want informal rather than formal. I have tall cherry laurel and hornbeam hedges, am experimenting with a small vegetable patch in 3 possible areas and need help to get a clear vision of where I am going with it all.
I used a garden consultant for this process about ten years ago at a previous property and found it really helpful. I don't find similar professionals out there today, I don't want garden designs drawn up or massive restructuring that I am unable to do myself. I moved into my current property, an elevated bungalow, in September 25.
Fancy a challenge? if so, I look forward to exploring possibilities with you.
NB This might also be a possibility for a project for a final year student?
